Fashion Designer Niiamar Felder is truly the next big thing in fashion. He began designing at the age of sixteen. With a background in music and fine arts, fashion was destined to be added to the mix. He avoids trends and fads, in favor of a more enduring style that is his own. Niiamar would like to be a teacher and inspiration to the world of fashion, he says "Education in the arts has cultural importance and is vital to young people. I plan to make a huge impact on the fashion industry, and most importantly, be a philanthropist of the arts". He adores Valentino and prefers to use high quality fabrics such as silk taffeta, chiffon and charmeuse. Niiamar studied fine arts and fashion - costume design at the Florida A&M University [Famu], where he also served as costume designer for the Essential Theatre. He credits his most impressionable experience to the Summer of 2006 where he worked as design assistant to Fashion Designer Kevan Hall of the the Kevan Hall Company and former Creative Director of Halston.
